If you’ve never booked a private cabana setup before, it’s a fair question: what actually goes into the price, and what should you expect to pay? Here’s an honest breakdown.
What Drives the Price
A few factors typically shape what a cabana rental costs:
- Length of stay. A single day costs more per day than a multi-day package — providers (us included) reward longer commitments with a lower daily rate.
- What’s included. A basic cabana setup with chairs is priced differently than one that includes a table, umbrella, coolers, games, or other add-ons.
- Setup and takedown service. Full-service setup — where your gear is in place before you arrive and packed up after you leave — is generally priced higher than a self-serve equipment rental, but it saves real time and effort.
- Location and season. Peak season (roughly February through April) and high-demand beaches can affect pricing and availability.
What We Charge, As an Example
Our Bonita Beach Flex Pass is a useful reference point: 7 individual cabana days at our standard day rate would run $1,225, but the Flex Pass bundles all 7 into a single $500 package — working out to about $71/day instead of roughly $175/day booked individually. That gap is a good illustration of how much multi-day bundling can move the price.
The Flex Pass includes one cabana, three beach chairs, a beach table, and full setup/takedown service, plus 20% off any add-ons you book alongside it.
For single-day bookings or a full breakdown of current pricing and add-on options (extra seating, games, coolers, and more), the best source of accurate, up-to-date numbers is our Rent a Cabana page or a quick call to (239) 823-1893 — pricing on add-ons in particular is customized at checkout based on what you select.
Is It Worth It?
The honest answer depends on what you’re optimizing for. If you’re comparing to buying your own gear, a single cabana day will usually cost more than what a cheap folding chair and umbrella would run at a store — but you’re not hauling that gear to the beach, setting it up, or taking it down, and you’re not storing it for the rest of your trip. For most vacationers, and for locals who beach often enough to make a multi-day pass worth it, the time and effort saved is the real value, not just the equipment.
