Why Bonita Beach
The only beach where we have a storefront
Cabana Magic’s store sits at 5800 Bonita Beach Road SW — directly across from Bonita Beach Park. That one fact changes the whole day. If the wind picks up, if you want an extra chair at noon, if the kids decide they need a cornhole board after all, we are a short walk away rather than a drive down the coast.
It is also why Bonita is the best value we offer. Every other beach carries a per-day trip fee to cover the drive out and back. Here there is none, so a Solo Cabana starts at $175 instead of $235 at Fort Myers Beach and Naples, or $275 on Sanibel.
The sand itself is the quieter end of the Southwest Florida coast — wide, walkable and calmer than the crowds around the Fort Myers Beach pier, with a boardwalk ramp that takes you from the parking lot straight onto the beach without a single step.

Parking, restrooms & accessibility
Beach parking is not included in your reservation, so here is exactly what to expect.
Bonita Beach Park
Directly across from the store. Metered parking is $2 per hour, paid by licence plate through Lee County’s Text2Park system or at the on-site pay station.
Restrooms & showers
Full restroom and outdoor shower facilities on site, including ADA-accessible restrooms and showers.
Accessibility
A boardwalk ramp runs straight from the lot onto the sand — no steps — plus designated disability parking spaces near the boardwalk. Tell us when you book and we will place your cabana to suit.
Barefoot Beach Preserve
The other option right next door, and a short drive from the store. It is Collier County, so parking works differently: a $10 flat fee per vehicle, free with a Collier County beach parking permit, open 8:00 AM to sunset. Quieter and more natural than the main park.
Your hours
Daytime setups run 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. A Golden Hour Sunset package runs 3:00 PM to dusk by request.

Where do you set up at Bonita Beach?
Most often at Bonita Beach Park, directly across the street from our store at Bonita Beach & Tennis Club, and at Barefoot Beach Preserve next door. We are not tied to either one — if you have a particular spot in mind, tell us when you book and we will meet you there.
How much does parking cost at Bonita Beach Park?
Bonita Beach Park is Lee County: $2 per hour, paid by licence plate through the Text2Park system or at the on-site pay station. Barefoot Beach Preserve next door is Collier County and works differently — a $10 flat fee per vehicle, free if you hold a Collier County beach parking permit. Parking is never included in your reservation, and rates can change, so check the posted signs when you arrive.
Is Bonita Beach Park accessible?
Yes. Bonita Beach Park has ADA-accessible restrooms, showers, and a boardwalk ramp that runs straight from the parking lot onto the sand, plus designated disability parking spaces near the boardwalk. We also carry alternative seating for guests with limited mobility — just ask when you book.
Why is Bonita cheaper than your other beaches?
Bonita Beach is our home base, so there is no trip fee. Off-site beaches carry a per-day fee that covers the drive out and back every day of your booking — $60 a day at Fort Myers Beach and Naples, $100 at Sanibel, which also covers the causeway toll each way.
What happens if it rains?
If light rain occurs, we will still move forward with your setup. In the event of thunderstorms, lightning or excessive winds (15+ mph), you will be notified as soon as possible. If we have to cancel due to weather before your reservation, you get a full refund or the option to reschedule.
What are my cabana hours?
Daytime Beach Suites run from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. A Golden Hour Sunset package is available from 3:00 PM to dusk on request. Need different hours? Ask us — we can often accommodate.
